Rosemary O’Keeffe has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) and a 1h Masters of Microelectronic Engineering Science from University College Cork awarded in 2008 and 2010 respectively and is currently conducting her research through Tyndall National Institute and University College Cork.
Current Rosemary's research:
Development of Nano Technology Monitoring Systems for In-Vivo Applications
The aim of the research is to develop the power supply for an autonomous, implantable cardiac monitoring device. The project consists of investigating piezoelectric nanomaterials, novel energy storage techniques and developing a biocompatible device.
