Supervisor: Dr. Tatiana S. Perova
Anna V. Baldycheva received the B.Sc. degree with Honors in Physics from St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2008 she has received prestigeouse Award from International Centre on Micro-and Nano-Engineering (ICGEE) to pursue the Ph.D. degree in Nano- and Micro Si photonics at Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland. Her research interests include FTIR and Micro-Raman Spectroscopy, Silicon Photonics, Micro- and Nanotechnology, Optoelectronics.
Current Anna's research:
Design, fabrication and investigation of 1D and 2D photonic crystals based on silicon
This short video was taken on ICGEE Annual Workshop in Galway, August 2010.
Posters:
- AFM and FTIR micro-spectroscopy analysis of one- and two- dimensional silicon photonic crystals
- Optical characteristics of a one-dimensional photonic crystal with an additional regular layer
- Characterisation of One-Dimensional Photonic Crystals fabricated by Wet and Dry Etching
- Design, fabrication and optical characterisation of Fabry-Pérot tunable resonator based on microstructured Si and liquid crystal
- Design of three-component 1D Photonic Crystals with tuning of optical contrast and regions of transparency
Anna is a member of the ICGEE Graduate Committee, she is ICGEE Scholars Representative.
